When women choose the way of freedom
We carry the hope of ALL women with us
We wear the names of the women who walked before us
We become the stories
Passed down through generations
Of the matriarchs who were anchors of the lands and the oceans
Of female deities who wielded both fires and flood
Of the blood they aligned to keep our lineages alive.
In November 2016, diverse feminist groups and organisations including FWRM organised the first ever Pacific Feminist Forum. Aimed at strengthening the Pasifika connection, the PFF was the first of its kind and a way of bringing together feminists, womens human rights defenders and advocates from across the region to share ideas, experiences and strategise on ways of moving forward. 
Over 150 women human rights defenders and feminists from the Pacific convened for the 2nd Pacific Feminist Forum from 20 to 22 May 2019 at the Pearl Resort, Pacific Harbour Fiji. The Forum mobilised diverse women from across the Pacific to share knowledge and experiences, celebrate achievements and strategise for future collective action to achieve womens human rights. 
The 3rd Pacific Feminist Forum brought together diverse women from across the Pacific to share knowledge and experiences, celebrate achievements and strategise for future collective action to achieve womens human rights. Over 16 national forums were held across the Pacific with working groups made of various organizations that stand together in developing strategies for future.
